Pet care happens in your home. We take that seriously.
Below is what we actually do today — not a list of reassuring words. If something isn't on this page, we don't claim it.

We interview every caregiver ourselves
Nobody joins the Maggie Care Team from a sign-up form. We speak with every caregiver about their experience, how they handle routines and what they do when something unexpected happens.

We check identity and discuss experience directly
We review government ID and talk through the pets and situations a caregiver has genuinely handled, including references where they're available.

An introduction before the first overnight stay
For first-time Overnight Care, you, your pet and your caregiver meet before the stay. If it doesn't feel right, tell us and we'll look at the match again.

Care instructions written down, not remembered
Feeding, routine, medication, vet details and your emergency contact live in your pet's profile, so the caregiver working with your pet has the same information we do.

Backup care is coordinated by us
If your caregiver becomes unavailable, we work to arrange appropriate backup care from the Care Team rather than handing the problem back to you.

One place to raise a problem
During care, you contact Maggie — not a stranger's personal phone number. We stay the point of contact from the first request to the last visit.
Being straight with you
What we don't claim.
Maggie is early. We're a small, deliberately local team in Amsterdam, and we'd rather tell you what we haven't built than imply we've built it.
We don't advertise criminal background checks, insurance cover, veterinary qualifications or certifications. We don't publish ratings or reviews, because we don't yet have enough real customer experience behind them.
What we do offer is a caregiver we chose ourselves, an introduction before overnight care, and one company you can hold responsible.
